Charles Le Chevalier fece costruire questa fattoria nel 1847 e la chiamò in onore di sua moglie Anna van Heurn. Da questo momento fino all'anno 2000 la fattoria è stata affittata. L'affitto comprendeva i terreni immediatamente intorno alla fattoria ma anche i terreni verso cui questa passeggiata vi conduce.
Terreni umidi, ma grazie al metodo di agricoltura su piccola scala di tempi passati, gli agricoltori qui sapevano gestirli molto bene.
La fattoria è ora abitata da privati e la casa principale è utilizzata come casa vacanze. Il precedente stalla per bovini è stata allestita come soggiorno per campi scuola, settimane di vacanza e altri gruppi.
