Entlang dieser Wanderroute liegen vierzehn Landsitze. Von einigen sind die Parks öffentlich zugänglich. Die Route führt teilweise über die Strandwall, den historischen Sandrücken, der parallel zur Küstenlinie verläuft, und teilweise entlang der Vliet. Hier wurden ab dem 17. Jahrhundert zahlreiche Landhäuser von wohlhabenden Städtern angelegt.
