Along this hiking route lie fourteen country estates. Some of the parks are publicly accessible. The route partially runs along the beach dyke, the historical sand ridge that runs parallel to the shoreline, and partially along the Vliet. Here, numerous country houses were established by wealthy townsfolk starting in the 17th century.
