Etwa 30 km östlich der Stadt in der Nähe des Flusses Chorakhe Sam Phan. U-Thong war einst eine wohlhabende Stadt während der Dvaravati-Zeit, bevor Ayutthaya 1350 als Hauptstadt gegründet wurde. Das U-Thong Nationalmuseum im U-Thong-Distrikt zeigt Artefakte und archäologische Materialien, wie Werkzeuge, Utensilien und Buddha-Bilder, die bei Ausgrabungen gefunden wurden, und zeigt die Entwicklung von Gemeinschaften, die zu verschiedenen Zeiten in Suphan Buri ansässig waren.
