The Estany Negre is a small mountain lake near Arinsal in the Andorran parish of La Massana. The lake lies at an altitude of 2631 meters and is drained by the Riu de l'Estany Negre, along which are about forty meters below the Basses de l'Estany Negre, a smaller lake.
Located in the mountains northwest of Arinsal's village centre, Estany Negre is surrounded by the peaks of the Pic de Sanfons, Agulla de Baiau, Port de Baiau and Pic de Comapedrosa, the country's highest point. The GR11 hiking trail and a ski trail that coincides with it run along the eastern shore of the lake; the hiking trail heads towards the larger lakes Estanys de Baiau across the Spanish border, but is also often used to climb the Pic de Comapedrosa — the top of which is reached with a deviation from the international path of about 400 meters as the crow flies. The rocks just northeast of the lake are called the Rocs de l'Estany Negre.
