Höfen is a municipality with 1,257 inhabitants in the district of Reutte in Tyrol. The municipality lies within the judicial district of Reutte. Höfen is located southwest of the district capital Reutte in the Reuttener basin on the left side of the Lech River. The municipality extends up to the 1,938 m high Hahnenkamm, which features the Höfener Alpe ski resort. The former cable car to the Hahnenkamm was opened in 1956.
