Uderns is a municipality in the Ziller Valley with 1,861 inhabitants and belongs to the Schwaz district in Tyrol. The municipality is located in the district court of Zell am Ziller. Uderns lies between Fügen and Ried in the front Ziller Valley on the alluvial cone of the Finsingbach. In addition to the village of Uderns, the village of Finsing and the hamlet of Kleinboden on the border with Fügen, as well as the hillside farm settlement of Kupfnerberg, belong to the municipality. The valley floor is about 500 meters above sea level, rising wooded to 1,600 meters in the west. The municipal area covers around seven square kilometers. Of this, half is wooded and a quarter is used for agriculture.
