The Edelweißspitze is a mountain peak located to the NE of the Großglockner. It offers a great view. From here you get to see 30 mountains of + 3000m. This spot and is accessable by car, bike and motor. The road to this peak is open since 1935. The last part of the road to the Edelweisspitze is 1.5 km long. You will count 7 bents before you reach the end. The max. slope is 14%.The mountain peak was t 2577 m altitude, but that peak got scraped away for the parking. So it is now 6m lower.
