The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Oswald in Oberdrauburg is located below the rocky hillside at the northern edge of the village of Oberdrauburg. The original building from 1422 was dedicated to Saint Martin.
It fell victim to the great fire of the market in 1747. Incorporating the Gothic wall remnants, the brothers Michael and Paul Köfler constructed a late Baroque-classical new building between 1805 and 1812. Prince-Bishop Salm consecrated the church in 1819. The damage from the fire of 1870 to the church and tower was rectified by 1886. During restoration work in 1995/1996, the architectural polychromy with pilaster structure from the early 19th century was restored. A late Romanesque round arch portal with side columns and simple leaf capitals was uncovered.
