The Danube Bridge Niederranna connects the towns of Wesenufer in the Schärding district of Innviertel and Niederranna in the Rohrbach district of Mühlviertel. The bridge is the only Danube bridge in the Upper Danube Valley between Passau and Aschach over a distance of 65 km and provides a connection from the B 130 Nibelungen Road Eferding–Passau to the western Mühlviertel, where the L 587 Ebenhoch Road leads to Hofkirchen in the Mühlkreis. Additionally, the smaller country road via Rannariedl and the municipal road to Marsbach are connected.
