The Streitmandl, with an altitude of 2360 m above sea level, is one of the higher peaks in the Tennengebirge in the northern limestone Alps.
The Streitmandl descends steeply on all sides with rocky slopes and cliffs; to the south, the distinctive Werfener Hochthron is adjacent, and to the west, the bulging Raucheck rises, while the mountain transitions directly into the extensive karst plateau of the Tennengebirge to the north and east.
