The Gastein waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls in Austria and is the landmark of Bad Gastein.
The waterfall is located in the middle of the village of Bad Gastein and has been the subject of many famous painters and poets. The drop height of the Gasteiner Ache in three stages is approx. 340 m. The air, negatively ionized by atomization, is an important remedy of the place.
