The area includes the adjacent Rosenkranzhöhe and offers 40 kilometres of slopes altogether. In December 2013, Kreischberg was considered the first 10-seater gondola in Styria. In recent years the resort has been awarded multiple times for its high quality slopes.Compared to other ski resorts, Kreischberg is known for an above-average amount of snowboarders, which is due to very broad and some relatively flat slopes. For this reason, it has been a venue for multiple national and international snowboarding competitions.
