The Friesenberghaus is a Category I mountain hut of the Berlin section of the German Alpine Club. It is located in the Zillertal Alps, in the Austrian state of Tyrol in the area of the municipality of Finkenberg, at an altitude of 2498 m above sea level and is a stage destination of the Berlin high trail. The hut is situated directly above the Friesenberg Lake between the Hohen Riffler and the Frozen Wall peaks. Since November 2011, the hut has been awarded the environmental quality seal for alpine club huts. The house is part of the DAV initiative "This is how the mountains taste" and "With children in mountain huts."
