Branch and local church Mösern

The Roman Catholic branch and local church of Mösern is located in the village of Mösern in the market community of Telfs in the district of Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol. The filial church of the Visitation of Mary belongs to the deanery of Telfs in the diocese of Innsbruck. The church is a protected monument. The Baroque church, originally from the 17th century and surrounded by a cemetery, was remodeled and enlarged in 1763 and restored in 1951. Following plans by architect Ekkehard Hörmann, the church was expanded by two bays in 1979, while the west façade remained unchanged. The church serves as an independent pastoral care center and is cared for pastorally from Seefeld in Tyrol.
