Sonnenalpe Nassfeld is a district of the municipality of Hermagor-Pressegger See, located directly north of the Nassfeld Pass in the federal state of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria. The place is characterized by winter tourism and has 36 inhabitants. Like the other towns of Pressegger See and Sonnleitn, which also belong to the municipality, Sonnenalpe Nassfeld is a settlement whose origin is based on tourism. The center of the locality is situated at an altitude of about 1510 meters, while the highest part of the place is at 1530 meters at the Nassfeld Pass, right at the national border to Italy.
