The WI'MO Klagenfurt is a vocational higher school established in 1868 in the state capital Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Carinthia. The roots of the school date back to the founding of a women's association to establish a "girls' vocational school" in 1868. Countess Louisa Hohenwart, the spouse of the state president, and Therese von Tarnoczky, the spouse of the district court president, along with ten other women supported the founding of the school to open up changed professional and personal perspectives for Carinthian girls, as in other regions:
