The Habachtal is the only place in Europe where you can find emeralds in nature. Between Bramberg and Neukirchen there is a small exit to the Habachtal. Then walk in the direction of Rosenalm. An 8 kilometer hike uphill, from 1400m to almost 2100m, takes you to the location of the emeralds. In the Rosenalm you can borrow tools for free and also buy found pieces of emerald if you do not want to search yourself.
