The Leiblach, a natural low mountain river that flows into Lake Constance between Lindau and Hörbranz, is the lifeline of the valley. In its lower reaches, the river forms the border between Germany and Austria. Enchanted ravines, shady ravine forests, rushing waterfalls and sweeping views await hikers. Gravel banks and shallow water areas invite you to linger and picnic. Bad Diezlings in Austria is home to the inn of the same name, where the world-famous author Norbert Jacques wrote his novel "Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler" in 1920. The Kneipp facility in Hörbranz offers the opportunity for a soothing cool-down from a health point of view. The "Diezlinger Teich" pond is home to a variety of animal and plant species. The Maria Stern monastery in Gwiggen is home to a monastery store that is well worth a visit. Hikers are welcome guests on the adjoining terrace.
