Rund um den Guffert (Tour Nr. 23 aus dem RadlTraum Süd)

The Guffert massif is located entirely on the territory of our neighbors in Tyrol, Austria. A fantastic panoramic mountain, which is not too easy to climb.

This tour starts at the Valepp, which is why you have to cycle tour number 12a as a connection from Enterrottach, or you can approach the tour coming from Spitzingsee. From the Valepp, you leave the asphalt road and, apart from a small one in Steinberg, there are no more forest roads. That's the beauty of the tour, it runs through natural areas without much influence from today's normal technolosized fast world. You can come to rest, relax, but also push yourself to new limits of what you can do, because this tour is firstly very long, just under 60 km with over 1500 meters in altitude, which demands everything from you in terms of fitness and strength.

Rest stops are only possible in Steinberg, Kaiserhaus, Gufferthütte and Pinegg.
