Rotes Wandl

Easy and suitable for families, this short winter walk in the Hochoetz ski area leads around the reservoir at the top of the Acherkoglbahn cable car leads and then on to the "Rotes Wandl" vantage point. The loop can be completed in 30 minutes and offers fine views at 2,000 metres above sea level. The "Panoramarestaurant Hochoetz" at the top of the cable car serves food and drink.
The starting point of the hike is the top of the Acherkoglbahn cable car in the Hochoetz ski area. Starting from Ochsengarten, this can also be reached using the Ochsengartenbahn cable car. The leisurely walk leads from the "Widiversum" adventure playground along a prepared winter hiking trail around the reservoir and on in just a few minutes to the "Rotes Wandl" viewing platform. The route leads along the other side of the reservoir.
