The name Lobroekdok has been given to two docks in the port of Antwerp: the Old and the New Lobroekdok. The Old Lobroekdok was also called Noordschippersdok and was located west of the current New Lobroekdok near the Dam district when the IJzerlaan was still part of the Kempisch canal. The streets Noordschippersdok and Lange Lobroekstraat remember the size of the Old Lobroekdok, which was excavated in 1878 and filled in in 1957.
