The station is the southwestern end of line 5. The Eramus Metro Station has a remarkable architecture. The design of the Belgian architect Philippe Samyn consists of an island perron located in the middle of the Lenniksebaan, spanned by a plastic cloth. The roof rests on the side gates and forms eleven full and two half saddles. The platform can be reached by tunnels at both ends of the station.
