Description

This often quite high dike takes you through the Panneweel nature reserve, a beautiful landscape in which fields and lakes play the leading role and in which there is also room here and there for low-stem orchards. The landscape is brightened up by poems that are scattered on panels. They are the work of poets from or from Meerdonk, such as Leo Vercruyssen and Victor Yvens. If you are ready for a picnic, you are welcome at the picnic area of Natuurhuis Panneweel. Natuurhuis Panneweel is located on an old farmyard, but is now owned by Natuurpunt. Cyclists and walkers are always welcome for a break. Behind the building, VELT planted a standard orchard.
