In Poeke, one of the boroughs of Aalter, there is a beautiful castle in the bend of the Poekebeek. From the road that takes you from Lotenhulle to Poeke, behind a high wrought iron fence lies the castle of Poeke. Especially the façade with its triangular pediment, its ornate windows and the two flanking towers impresses at first sight.
