Saint Pancras Church

The Sint-Pancratius Church is a church building in Widooie in the Belgian municipality of Tongeren in the province of Limburg. The church is located on Widooiestraat and Sint-Pankraasstraat. Surrounding the church is a walled cemetery.
The brick building is a classical pseudo-basilica and consists of a projecting west tower, a three-nave ship with four bays, and a choir with a straight bay and a semicircular closure. The choir is flanked by sacristies. The tower has three parts, finished with limestone and a twisted spire. The tower features a round-arched portal, a round-arched window, an oculus, bell openings, water tables, and corner pieces. These corner pieces connect the second with the third part. The ship and the choir have round-arched windows equipped with arches of limestone and extended imposts. The building has a gable roof covered with slates. Between the central nave and the side aisles are round-arched arcades on columns. The ship is vaulted by a barrel vault and the choir by a semi-dome.
