The tower of this brick church comes from its predecessor, a neoclassical structure from 1828. This square west tower has two sections, is topped with a baluster spire, and features a statue of Saint Peter above the entrance portal.
The current church building is designed in a Neo-Romanesque style and dates from 1910. The church was enlarged with two side aisles between 1949 and 1950.
