In the town hall is also the beautiful large stained glass window of the Brussels glazier Louis de Contini (Overijse, 1854).
The stained glass window was first exhibited at the Antwerp World Fair in 1893. It was placed on the town hall at the inauguration of the water tower by King Leopold II (1893).
However, the current stained glass window is a copy. The original was completely destroyed by air displacement in 1919, when the Favier gunpowder factory (the "Poeierke") exploded.
