The Everbeekse Bossen are a recognized nature reserve in the Flemish Ardennes in South-East Flanders. The 34 ha forest area is located in the municipality of Brakel and is managed by Natuurpunt. The Everbeek forests are now four separate forests: the Trimpontbos, the Steenbergbos, the Parikebos and the Hayesbos. The Parikebos is a 9 ha non-accessible forest reserve owned by the Flemish government; the oak-hornbeam forest is located in the source area and on the steep slope of the Remistebeek valley. The Kollebroeken are also a grove of the Everbeek forest area. Natuurpunt also manages part of the Everbeekse Bossen. Via the Hayesbos and the wooded Buistemberg, the Everbeek forests connect to the Walloon Livierenbos in Vloesberg in the Pays des Collines and thus to the nature reserve Bovenlopen Zwalm. The nature reserve is recognised as a European Natura 2000 area and is part of the Flemish Ecological Network. In 1999, the Everbeek forests were included in a LIFE project of the European Union. The Hayesbos and the Verrebeek valley are protected as a landscape.
