walk: The Legend of the Devil's Claw
In Langerlo, you can recognize the legend of the Devil's Claw in a number of 'Devil's Stones' in the central square. The devil is said to have left the prints of his paws on the stones out of anger over the Christianization of Genk. On a guided walk, you can hear the special story from the guide. Other elements from the history of Langerlo - such as the old and modern port - are also addressed.
