Founded around 1880 in the cemetery of Guigoven, in place of the choir of the previous parish church demolished in 1856-57 indicated on the Ferraris map (1771-77) and in the Atlas of the Neighbourhood Roads (1844). Simple neo-Gothic brick house of worship of one bay with three-sided chancel, under gable roof (slates) on which an iron cross. Pointed arch door in a flat bluestone frame, surmounted by an ancient stone statue, possibly of Roman origin. Side walls with one window each in a flat pointed arched bluestone frame with leak sills. Ditto window in the middle of the chancel. Plastered interior. Mobile: Tombstones with personal representations: Henry of Guigoven (+ 1346); Jan van Printhagen (+ 1519) and his two spouses, Catharina van Grevenbroek (+ before 15..) and Clara van Stevoort (+ after 1536). Tombstones of Clara van Printhagen (+ 1623), François-Théodore de Blanckart (+ 1653) and Marie de Cortenbach (+ 1624), the parish priests de Latte (+ 1652) and Stox (+ 1733), Jan Lenaerts and Gertruydt Hamons (+ 1689) and M.I. Ramauger (+ 1778). In front of the entrance to the chapel are the remains of two tombstones of the lords of Guigoven, namely Jan van Opleeuw (+ 1296) and Hendrik Surlet and Anna van Guigoven (circa 1500). All tombstones come from the former church. Three grave crosses (17th-18th century).
