Did you know that you can find the wild daffodil in the Bos Ter Rijst. This rare flower can only be found here and in the Hallerbos. The forest of Ter Rijst has a very varied stock of native trees such as mountain ash, black alder, willow and chestnut. The rich shrub variety includes blackthorn, single-stemmed hawthorn, red dogwood, cardinal's hat, elderberry, veldolm and hornbeam. The abundant purple bluebell and white forest anemone provide a photogenic spectacle every year.
