The Lieteberg is one of the gateways to the Hoge Kempen National Park, located on Zuurbroekstraat in the Zutendaal hamlet of Broek.
Originally, there was a sand and gravel pit here. In the early 1990s, beekeepers established a breeding station for Carniolan bees. This evolved in the following years into a visitor center where the world of insects plays a significant role. Courses are also offered.
