The castle was built in the early 19th century by Viscount François Guillaume de Pattin, treasurer of the Golden Fleece. In the castle, which was converted into a town hall, and has been in use since 1959, the coats of arms of the noble families who occupied the building at the time are displayed. These are the only remains that will bear witness to the origin of the good in the future.
