The chapel on the rampart is the so-called Achterkapelleke. It was built in the mid-19th century by the Benedictine sisters who settled here as early as 1690. For three centuries, they have been caring for psychiatric patients. It is after these sisters that the Benedictinessenstraat is named. In the Achterkapelleke, there is a statue of Our Lady of the ramparts.
