Located near the Kapellestraat. Chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Need and located above street level on a roundabout at the beginning of the Kapellestraat, partly planted with cotoneaster. The founding of the chapel of Our Lady in Need and death by a canon from Anderlecht would rise to 1597 after the religious turmoil. Chapel perpendicular to the Postweg on rectangular plan of one bay with flat closure under front strongly cantilevered slate gable roof with crowning iron cross, elaborate wooden wind spring and struts; rear roof. Construction cemented with false joints, said to be clad of white sandstone, marked by a rectangular door between two ditto windows, worked out, as it were, as one opening; oak joinery with baluster decoration; crowning inscription "Our Lady / in Need and Death / along this road sets foot in genes / do not pass quickly with haste and haste / Our Mary Hail Mary!". Blind rear façade with pointed saint's niche. Simple plastered interior with barrel vault and red tiled floor; various polychrome statues of saints. The original Mechelen statue of Our Lady and Child was transferred to the church.
