Booitshoeke is a polder village in the Belgian province of West Flanders. Since 1971, it has been a part of the municipality of Veurne. The depopulating agricultural village had only 75 inhabitants in 2018.
Booitshoeke was a parish in 1190, having previously been part of that of Wulpen. An old mention of the place name dates back to 1239, as 'Boidenkinshoucke'. Until 1566, it belonged to the Diocese of Terwaan, and thereafter to the Diocese of Ypres. The village was plundered by the Spanish army in 1659.
