De Halve Maan is an authentic, historic brewery in the center of Bruges. This house brewery is a family business with a tradition of six generations of brewers since 1856. Here, the Bruges city beer, the 'Brugse Zot', is brewed: a spicy beer of high fermentation based on malt, hops, and special yeast. And also the 'Straffe Hendrik': a strong beer with rich malt and hop notes. Daily tours are organized in various languages. After the tour, you will be offered a Brugse Zot blonde. Feeling hungry? You can also stop by the brasserie for lunch or dinner. If you want to take something home for friends and family, you should definitely visit the museum shop.
