The Kaaihoeve owes its name to the dock that once existed there and was of great importance for trade in the region. Today, the farm is set up as an educational center where everyone can find information about nature and the environment. From here, the province organizes various nature and environmental educational activities and awareness campaigns, mainly aimed at preschool and primary education.
