According to M. Degeest (2001) the somewhat Dutchified dialect word "teump", which would mean sharp. Located about 500 meters southeast of the destroyed castle Grevenbroek, in a low, marshy, and wooded nature area. According to A. Claassen, the residential tower (13th - early 14th century) of the oldest lords of Grevenbroek, before they built the vanished castle in the early 15th century, according to L. Van de Sijpe and F. Doperé, windmill from the early 15th century, for which the few preserved building-physical elements argue.
