Through a step-by-step plan, the Agency for Nature and Forest is restoring the natural values. The redesign of the nature area is based on two pillars: the restoration of historical land use and more space for water.
In nine years, the agricultural lands have been converted into ecologically valuable areas. Wet and dry grasslands, marsh zones, high-stem orchards, natural hedgerows, coppice woods, and ponds now shape the landscape.
