The Jagershuis is a youth accommodation. Children can play and romp in the forest here.
Follow the path to the right for the Jagershuis. In the forest to the left, people sought their peace in numerous weekend cottages during the 1960s. Gradually, nature is taking its course.
Under the coniferous trees grow typical shrubs for poor and acidic oak-birch forests such as wild rowan, sporkwood, twisted sedge, blue bilberry, porcupine grass, broad-bristle fern, and blackberries. To the right, you can see the original vegetation of the Houterenberg: heath.
