When visiting Esneux, don't miss the Vieux Thier district: 155 steps lead up from the centre! This site dates back to the 16th century and connects the Esneux layer to Le Mont. The façade of house number 8 is worth admiring: a niche with a statue of virgins with the text « obstine peChVr prie la Mère DU saVVeUr », in other words: the date of 1677 is visible.
