This transparent church with the resounding name 'Reading Between the Lines' is a PIT artwork by the artistic architect duo Gijs Van Vaerenbergh. It symbolizes the emptying of the church. The 10 meter high artwork consists of 100 layers of steel plate stacked on top of each other in the shape of a Loons church. Thanks to the special construction, the beautiful Haspengouw landscape is always visible throughout the church. In 2012, this see-through church received the "Building of the Year" award from the prestigious Archdialy website. This is the first time that a Belgian project has received this honour. Enjoy the view, because this is a place with one of the most beautiful panoramas.
