Around the church is the cemetery of Groot-Loon where a mysterious activity took place. On a number of old abandoned graves, someone lays white chrysanthemums on All Saints' Day. The municipality wants to get rid of the graves, because they have subsided and are falling apart. But in Borgloon, the rule is that a grave is only cleared when there are no more flowers on it on All Saints' Day. Who wants the tombs to remain untouched and why should they be preserved?
