The Alexandre Markelbach Street is a Brussels street in the municipality of Schaerbeek that begins at the junction of Clays Avenue, Gustave Fuss Street, and Consolation Street and ends at Rogier Avenue, passing through Colonel Bremer Square and Grand Rue au Bois.
The street is named after the Belgian painter Alexandre Markelbach who lived in Schaerbeek at Haecht Road 129 and then 155. He was a municipal councilor from 1879 to 1890. The street's name dates back to 1898.
