The bell tower of Dendermonde dates back to the 14th century and is located in the Belgian city of Dendermonde. The bell tower has been part of a group of bell towers in Belgium and France on the UNESCO World Heritage List since December 4, 1999. The tower is 40.30 meters high.
The bell tower of Dendermonde originally forms a corner tower of the cloth halls, the construction of which began in 1337. Later, in 1377, they were expanded with the actual bell tower. The Cloth Hall took on the function of city hall during the 15th century.
