The current station building dates from the period 1930-1931. The right side of the station building was demolished in 1974 for the construction of the central bridge between Emelgem and Izegem, which spans the Roeselare-Leie canal alongside the tracks. Additionally, there is a fully intact goods shed, still owned by the NMBS. A parking lot for more than 400 cars has been developed on the former goods yard.
