The Sint-Jansberg Monastery is a former monastery in Zelem in the Belgian province of Limburg. The monastery was originally called Sint-Jansdal and is named after Saint John the Baptist.
This monastery, of the Carthusian order, was founded in 1329 by the Lord of Diest and his second wife, Joanna of Flanders. During the 14th and 15th centuries, the monastery expanded. However, it was destroyed by the troops of William of Orange in 1582. With this, a very important library was also lost.
