Neo-Gothic basilica, built in 1913-1915 to a design by H. Martens and V. Lenertz, to replace an older church on the same site. This church had a marlstone tower of three sections, possibly with Romanesque substructure, the rest dating from the 13th - 14th century. A restoration of this church is reported in 1456. The brick nave (hall church) of two bays and the choir of one straight bay with three-sided closure were built after the old nave collapsed in 1791 and 1792. The churchyard used to be surrounded by the church, which was walled in 1868. The cemetery is now located south of the village centre.
